Sexual education covers a broad range of topics such as the biology of reproduction, relationships sexuality contraception and sexually transmissible infections. Hence people of all ages especially the younger generation needs accurate information about sex and sexuality to negotiate sexual relationships safely and responsibly. Effective sex education includes work on attitudes and beliefs coupled with skills development that enables young people to choose whether or not to have a sexual relationship taking into account the potential risks of any sexual activity thus reducing the risks or negative outcomes from sexual behavior, such as unwanted pregnancies and infections caused by sexually transmitted diseases including HIV, helping them to take right decisions over their lifetime. Children and teens need good information about sex and sexual relationships, as information is a power and in this high risk day and age. Discussing about sex and beginning to talk to the young in age will be a protection to them from abuse.
