A transmitter converts information to signals and send it to the medium of communication. The receiver recognizes the signals and converts it to the visual or audio output. The invention of telecommunication has drastically altered the life style of the society. The telegraph and telephone were early applications of the invention. Later, radio and television found their place in every household. Analogue broadcasts gave way to digital broadcasts. Then the computers came and internet revolution along with the cellular phones. All these appliances have become part of our daily life so that it is hard for us to imagine a world without them.
