Ireland is one of the prominent islands located in Europe, and is comprised of The Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, which in turn is a part of the United Kingdom. The country, once covered by thriving vegetation and trees, is now a victim of environmental destruction, rendering many places barren. The climate does not vary between extremities, as the land is surrounded by water. Even though agricultural production is on the rise, indiscriminate and irrational cropping methods affected the ecosystem badly. Even though the country is regarded as a very good place to live, the economy of the country is not at its best presently, despite an upsurge in the 1990s.
