Cosmetic surgery is an elective procedure to improve the looks and appearance of people. Lack of confidence can arise when one feels that his looks are not good. In that way, such surgical procedures boost the self-esteem of people. Cosmetic surgery can be successfully used to change the appearance of one’s eyes, nose, teeth and other facial features which the person consider less appealing. More than physically, the person will be benefitted emotionally. Due to the same reason, insurance plans cannot be utilized for the reimbursement of cosmetic surgery procedures. They do not deem it a medical necessity. Cosmetic surgeries are very expensive and require the consent of the person who undergoes surgery.
