The basic meaning of investment is the process of saving some resources for the future. The investor has many choices to do with the profit he earned. He can produce durable goods which in turn earns him the more profit. With the profit, he can also start another business to earn better. He can lend money to other groups, can invest in business shares, equity, bonds and can invest in real estate which is a tangible asset. One invests in shares with the hope of earning profits in the future, but it is a risky affair. A less risky category is the investment through intermediaries like banks, mutual funds, insurance companies etc. Real estate investment is also a good choice. One can purchase property or can do it through a lender. Commercial real estate is also a good option, but it is more difficult to get lenders.
