Visual Arts are those art forms which creates a visual output like painting, photography etc. In the tsrict sense, architecture can also be classified as visual arts. But these 3 dimensional art forms are categorized under the plastic arts. Drawing is a visual art and is created by the draftsman. The main tools are pencils, pen, brush, color pencils etc with the inclusion of the recent digital tools as well. Painting invilves the use of colors and is used in conjunction with drawing. Printmaking involves the transfer of images to a two dimensional surface and the digital techniques simplify the whole process. Other forms of visual arts are photography, film making and computer based arts.
